I’ve been saying for awhile now that we should replace all current taxes with a national income tax. I just realized however, that I am not the only one who thinks this is a good idea. In fact, there is a growing movement to pass legislation called the FairTax. There even is a book that explains the explains the position (The FairTax Book).
